A newly acquired team and no time to wait
Following the acquisition of another brokerage, the client needed their new employees up and running inside the parent company’s systems as fast as possible. The acquired team still had their own office, devices, and infrastructure, none of which were ready for the new environment.
Going down the traditional route – replacing every workstation before anyone could log in – would have delayed the integration for weeks and disrupted operations on both sides. They needed a way to get people working immediately, and migrate the hardware at a controlled pace afterwards.

New employees provisioned directly into the existing Microsoft 365 tenant via Microsoft Entra ID – secure identities, MFA, and access to corporate systems from day one.
Azure Virtual Desktop deployment
Each user received a secure virtual desktop giving them access to line-of-business applications, shared data, and internal systems – all from their existing PCs, without touching the hardware.
Secure business continuity
Company data remained within Microsoft Azure throughout, never stored on unmanaged local devices. The virtual environment acted as a secure bridge between the two organisations during the integration period.
Phased device migration
With users already working in the cloud environment, physical device migration was planned and scheduled around the business – low disruption, low risk, and on their terms.
